June
Bali:
June is the start of the peak tourist season on the island as temperatures hit a steady 30-32°C, humidity dips and there is very little rain. The beaches start to become busy this month as tourists flock to the warm tropical seas and cool themselves in a sea breeze. The dry spell provides visitors with an excellent opportunity to explore the island's hilly interior and even take a trek up the volcanic Gunung Batur.
The Bali Arts Festival runs from mid-June to mid-July in Denpasar and features a wealth of local performers. An excellent introduction to Balinese crafts, music and dance.
