Climb Mount Kinabalu - Hiking Tour
The highest mountain in South East Asia is a challenging climb for the more energetic. The views from the peak are amazing and rewarding after the final difficult stretch to reach the summit. A good level of fitness is required for this climb.

Kota Kinabalu
You will be picked up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu at 6.45am for a 2-hour drive to the Kinabalu National Park. Upon arrival, register with the park office and proceed to the power station, the starting point of the summit trail. Trek up to Laban Rata guesthouse with your guide for an overnight stop on the mountain. Stop en route for a packed lunch before arriving around 3 pm; the rest of the day is free until dinner.
At 2am you will receive a wake up call and tea or coffee before you commence the summit trail by torchlight. You should reach the summit around 6am, just in time to see the sun rising and the impressive views. Descend the mountain back to the guesthouse for breakfast, before continuing your descent back to the Power station. Arrive around 12.30pm and transfer to the Park's headquarters for lunch, followed by a transfer back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
