This is a short tour that can be taken whilst you are in Bangkok. Khao Yai National Park covers an area of some 2,168 square kilometers and is one of the country's largest National Parks. Wild animals that can be frequently seen include: deer, elephants, sun bear, wild boars, tigers and gibbons. This moist evergreen forest is home to some 2,000-2,500 plant species and over 350 bird species. Khao Yai is cooler and more pleasant than the hot, humid lowland of Central Thailand. The favourable weather and clear skies make the park a favorite destination for hiking and bird watching. Khao Yai National Park is Thailand's oldest and best-known nature sanctuary and is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
Day 1
Bangkok-Khao Yai: Depart from your hotel in Bangkok for a 2-hour drive to Khao Yai, located some 200 kms northeast of Bangkok. Arrive and check-in at Kirimaya, the first boutique luxury resort, nestled at the edge of the revered Khao Yai National Park. After relaxing and having dinner at your hotel, we set out on a Night Spotlighting tour. The park offers spotlighting tours every evening. A pick up truck will be provided with a powerful spot light. The 1-hour tour can be started at either 19:00 or 20:00 hrs. Deer, civets, owls, porcupines and snakes are often seen. Binturongs, small cats, elephants and slow loris are seldom seen, although the potential is always there.

Day 2
Khao Yai National Park - Nature Park: You will have breakfast at the resort, and then you'll set out on a full day nature trek with a park ranger. Lunch is included. There are more than 20 trails to choose from, each different in natural beauty and distance. After finishing the walk, you will be returned to your resort for rest and relaxation, and to enjoy the hotel's facilities.

Day 3
Khao Yai National Park-Vineyard Tour-Bangkok: After breakfast, check out and drive through patchwork countryside that could be mistaken for France, due to the surrounding vineyards. Our first stop is at the Grand Monte Vineyard. Then, we will continue driving through the valley that offers some excellent views of the countryside. We will stop at a second Vineyard, PB Khao Yai Winery where you will enjoy Thai lunch at the Hornbill Restaurant. In the afternoon we return to Bangkok via Saraburi (approx. 2 hour drive).
