Arrive Bangkok: On arrival you will be met by one of your representatives and transferred to your hotel - the rest of day is free for you to relax after your flight.

Full day to tour: Visit to the Grand Palace, various temples and take a trip on the klongs (canals) in a longtail boat and rice barge.

Full day tour: Today you'll have an early start to enable you to see the floating market before going on to the Rose Garden Complex.

Bangkok - Cha Am: This morning we cross the Chao Phraya River to the capital's sister city of Thonburi and on the way past salt harvesting farms at the nearby gulf. Then onto Damnern Saduak, home of the floating market where the streets are klongs (canals) along which the village people ply their trade in long-tailed boats selling all sorts of fruit, cooked food and spices to the town folk. From here, we will drive to Phetchaburi for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will drive towards Cha Am. Along the way we stop to visit Phra Nakhon Kiri Palace on the hill, built in King Mongkut's era and the Marukhathaywan Palace, built of golden teak wood by the sea. From there we continue to your hotel where you'll send the afternoon at your leisure. Dinner will be available at your hotel. There is an optional visit to Hua Hin Night Market with a trishaw (pedicab) ride.

Overnight in Cha Am (L/D)

Cha Am - Chumphon: From Cha Am, we drive to Hua Hin and to a fishing village called Pran Buri. We also drive through the Sam Roi Yod (Three Hundred Peaks) National Park, location of the famous war scenes in the film "The Killing Fields". You have the opportunity to climb the 395 steps to the top of the "Mirror Mountain" with its small monastery overlooking the little harbour and beach. We will stop for lunch at a seaside restaurant. After lunch we will continue southwards, maybe stopping for fresh pineapples by the roadside before proceeding to Chumphon. Dinner will be served at your hotel.

Chumphon - Krabi: After breakfast, we will leave for Surat Thani. We will visit Phra Borommathat Chaiya; the Mahayanan style stupa of Phra Borommathat Chaiya built around 757. From here, we continue to the weaving village of ``Baan Phumriang'', famous for its exquisitely coloured cloth call ``Phumriang Silk''. After lunch, we travel overland to the Southwest National Park at Ao Luk - Krabi. By the late afternoon we will have reached the Krabi area where we check in at the hotel for two nights. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Krabi: You have the choice of relaxing at the hotel or joining a boat trip (optional) to nearby islands with beautiful sandy beaches. Or, you can join a Kayak trip to explore nearby mangroves.

Krabi - Phuket: Breakfast is followed by a visit to the Shell Cemetery where petrified seashells dating as far back as 75 million years make up huge rock slabs. Then a morning cruise across the Phang Nga National Park takes you to spectacular Phang Nga with its awesome limestone karsts above the bay. We take you to a small island, which, (due to its location destination in the film "Man with the Golden Gun"), has been nicknamed "James Bond Island". On our way we pass a Muslim village, complete with a mosque, built on stilts in the water. After a delicious lunch, you will enjoy the striking scenery from the terrace of Phang Nga Resort. We then proceed to Phuket, one of Thailand's premier beach resorts and finally check in at your hotel.

Depart Phuket and return to the U.K.: Afternoon departure to airport for flight to Bangkok and onward to U.K.
