Mr H from Preston in November 2008We started our holiday in Singapore with a Singapore Sling at Raffles Hotel where they were first invented. We ate peanuts and threw the shells on the floor! Don't worry, that's customary! The following days were spent wandering around the many places of interest in the city; shopping on Orchard Avenue; relaxing at a wine bar in Clarke Quay; and shopping (again) in bustling Little India. We spent a total of 5 nights here before going onto the jungles of Borneo in Malaysia.
Mr T from Totnes in November 2009Highly recommended is the Night Safari at Singapore Zoo - what an experience. The animals really do have so much space there. The city itself has to be the cleanest and safest city in the world. There are so many wonderful restaurants; I particularly liked Clarke Quay and the authentic Chinese restaurants in China town.
